Nicotine replacement therapy:

Lois (70 year) - Nationality: American - September 13, 2000

"I stopped smoking for 4 weeks, with the help of the patch and medicine (Zyban, under the guidance of my doctor). I have been sick so many times, with very bad colds. I wanted to stop. I finished 4 weeks with none and then took one of my husband's who still smokes. Now, I will have to start over again. I will never stop trying, as I have already lost 3 members of my family, due to lung cancer. My husband has had a bypass and 2 heart attacks. I thought, if I stopped, it would help him. I go back to the doctor next Thursday and hope I can continue with a new status of non- smoker. Thanks for your interest."
